Michelle Dockery, star of “Downton Abbey,” has opened the doors to her sprawling London townhouse, revealing a colorful paradise that is filled with fun—and just a little touch of the regal elegance her on-screen family is best known for.

The 43-year-old actress gave Architectural Digest a tour of her chic property, which she snapped up in 2019 for $2.3 million, ahead of the Sept 12 release of the final “Downton Abbey” film, “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.”

Upon entering the stunning abode, Dockery, who is expecting her first child with husband Jasper Waller-Bridge, first took the cameras to her “boot room,” which comes with blue built in shelving and floral wallpaper.

“Feels like quite a luxury to have a dedicated space just for throwing your coats and shoes on the floor,” she jokes, before adding: “The previous owners actually put in this partition wall because this was part of the room next door and created this boot room.”

The actress then takes viewers through to her hallway, which is adorned with stunning pieces of art and leads to an elegant white staircase.

“I always wanted a gallery hallway so over the years, I have collected lots of different pieces of artwork,” she shares.

Dockery then heads downstairs to reveal her kitchen and living space, which is where she and her husband spend “most of” their time.

The star’s kitchen boasts state-of-the-art appliances, a marble island, black cabinets, and wooden accents.

Dockery reveals that the kitchen “was much smaller” when she first bought the home, so she added an “extension” to make it larger.

“We extended the island and added a dining area,” she shares.

The actress explains that she loves to entertain in her kitchen area, before revealing that the pistachio-green dining room doors that lead to the outdoor area are her favorite feature of the home.

In addition to its green doors, the dining room also comes with a wooden table, making it the perfect place for Dockery and her pals to come together.

Her pantry area boasts its own sink, mug wall, and large closet for snacks.

Moving into the family room, there is a large couch, TV, multiple built-in wall shelves, and large windows.

“We spend a lot of time here, I spend a lot time in here,” she says while sinking into the plush sofa.

Adjacent to the living room is the bathroom, which the actress says is “one of my favorite little rooms in the house.”

The bathroom boasts a red door, tree-covered wallpaper, and green checkered floors.

Taking viewers to her “TV room,” Dockery explains that—unsurprisingly—it is where “we tend to watch a lot of TV.”

The room follows a dark theme and features dark blue curtains and matching shelving.

There is a blue couch and red-border windows that allow a glimpse of sunlight to peek through.

“I wanted to make it feel really cozy,” the A-lister notes.

She then enters her office, which is another one of her “favorite” rooms.

The office area is completely different from the other rooms in the house; instead of vibrant colors, the space boasts white walls and lots of sunlight.

“This is one of my favorite rooms in the house; it’s one of the brightest rooms,” the actress says.

She then shows off her master bedroom, which features a king-sized bed with a wooden headboard, a velvet green chair, colorful artwork, custom-made sage green wardrobes, and large windows.

It comes with an en-suite, which boasts a marble soaking tub, and his and her vanities.

Lastly, the actress showcases her expansive walk-in closet, which is adorned with navy blue wardrobes.

“It’s always nice to just sit somewhere and do your hair and makeup,” she notes.

Dockery’s home tour did not, however, reveal whether she and Waller-Bridge have created a dedicated space for their baby—after surprising “Downton Abbey” fans with the news of her pregnancy when she debuted her bump on the red carpet at the film’s premiere.

After showing off her growing baby bump, Dockery has shared some insight into her pregnancy during the press tour for the movie, telling late night host Jimmy Fallon that she’s “feeling great,” while noting that she believes she’s in the midst of her “peppy phase.”

The pregnancy comes at a very poignant time for Dockery and her “Downton Abbey” co-stars, who have repeatedly confirmed that their latest on-screen turn will be the last project in the series—at least as far as their involvement is concerned.

“It is bittersweet; it’s been 15 years,” she told Fallon. “It’s been a very long goodbye, but I think it’s in the title. This is definitely the last one.”

Still, Dockery—who plays Lady Mary Crawley in the series—has plenty to look forward to, not least embracing a new role as a first-time mother.

“It certainly feels like a new chapter, in many ways, for all of us, and personally for myself, it’s a new chapter,” she shared during a recent appearance on the “Today” show. “I’m very excited.”

And although “Downton Abbey” is coming to an end, Dockery said she feels “very, very lucky and grateful to have been part of something this special for such a long time.

“We’ve become this family and, you know, our friendship continues beyond ‘Downton.’ No one has experienced this bond that we have. It’s really, really special,” she added.
