THOUSANDS gathered in Hostage Square tonight – as President Trump’s daughter called the expected return of the kidnapped Israelis a “triumph of faith”.

Ivanka Trump told crowds in Tel Aviv: “The return of each hostage is not only a moment of homecoming and relief.

“It’s a triumph of faith, of courage and of our shared humanity.”

The president’s daughter was joined by husband Jared Kushner and Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff – who helped draw up the peace plan.

Earlier, Witkoff said the warring sides “all owe a debt of deep gratitude” to the US leader.

“In the worst of times, he refused to accept the idea that peace in the Middle East was out of reach,” he added.

“He brought together nations once divided by generations of conflict, and showed us that shared peace is stronger than shared pain.”

Meanwhile, organisers claimed half a million pro-Palestine protesters marched through London to mark two years since the start of the conflict.

Some were filmed chanting “Death to the IDF” – the same hate chant that marred punk duo Bob Vylan’s Glastonbury Festival performance in June.

Police said officers made 14 arrests.
