Eagan City Administrator Dianne Miller will no longer be stepping down from her current role, according to an announcement from the city.
In May, Miller announced she would be leaving her city administrator position to become the deputy director and chief operating officer for the International City/County Management Association. Her last day was going to be July 18.

Miller announced Wednesday that she will stay in her current position instead.
“The work we do here in Eagan, the relationships we’ve built, and the culture we’ve created together mean a great deal to me,” Miller said in the release. “Eagan is my place. And I love it too much to say goodbye.”
Miller has worked for the city of Eagan for 24 years. Before serving as city administrator, she served as assistant city administrator for 11 years and assistant to the city administrator for nine years prior.
Julia Novak is the CEO of the International City/County Management Association.
“We respect Dianne’s decision and are pleased she will continue her valuable work in Eagan,” Novak said in an article on the association’s website. “Her leadership in Eagan is a tremendous asset to ICMA and the communities we serve.”
