Hernandez sets school record for BP cross country team

Blooming Prairie junior Gloria Hernandez set a new standard for the Awesome Blossoms as the BP boys and girls cross country teams each took first place in BP Tuesday.
Hernandez took first place with a time of 20:20.1, which is a new BP school record, breaking the mark of 20:29.2 that Bobbie Bruns set in 2017.
The BP boys team also took first behind a strong effort from freshman Dante Williamson, who took 15th place as the team’s sixth runner.
