(St. Paul, MN) — Despite battling from behind the entire game, the Wild settled for a point on Sunday with a 6-5 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks. Minnesota trailed 2-0, 4-2 and also 5-3 into the middle part of the third period. Zee Buium scored his second of the season to pull the Wild to within one then Joel Eriksson Ek tied that game at 5-5 with 2:18 left in regulation. Macklin Celebrini got the only Sharks shot in the O-T period to net San Jose just their second win of the season. Marcus Johansson, Marco Rossi and Ryan Hartman also scored for Minnesota while Brock Faber and Kirill Kaprizov notched three helpers apiece. The Wild are 0-1-1 on the six game homestand which continues on Tuesday night against Winnipeg.
